Which Coffee for a V60?

A V60 rewards clarity and sweetness, so reach for light roasts with tea, citrus and stone-fruit notes. Floral from our partners at COFFEELAB is Ethiopian Heirloom with intense jasmine and a tea-like body, Fruity adds lemon-tart brightness from Kenyan SL28 and SL34, and Juicy Fruit from COFFEE PLANT is a washed blend full of stone fruit and citrus.

  • Flavor Transparency

The conical shape and paper filtration highlight delicate floral notes and complex acidity.

  • Accessible Excellence

A dripper, paper filters and a scale are enough to get started. After that, the beans do the talking.

  • Total Control

Manual brewing allows you to adjust flow rate and temperature for a truly precision cup.

Why Light Roasts Shine in a V60

A paper filter catches the oils, so what reaches your cup is pure flavor: floral notes from an Ethiopian, crisp apple from a Colombian, tea and citrus from a Kenyan. That is why light roasts and washed lots feel so vivid here. Pour over works like a scalpel, and you decide how fast the water moves.

Dialing In Your V60

Start with 15 g of coffee and 250 g of water, grind medium-fine and bloom for 30 to 45 seconds. Tastes bitter or dry? Grind a bit coarser or pour a little faster. Tastes sour or watery? Grind finer or pour a little slower. Keep the gear simple with a Hario V60-02 dripper and matching V60-02 paper filters.
