A Slovakian roastery founded by World Barista Championship competitor Viktor Štefančík. Named "Spojka" (The Connector), its mission is to unite people through world-class coffee. Based in Prešov, it blends professional expertise with a deep local soul.

SPOJKA ROASTERY

Founded in December 2022 in Prešov, eastern Slovakia, Spojka Roastery was born from a desire to bring world-class coffee to their hometown. Led by head roaster and former World Barista Championship competitor Viktor Štefánčík, the team set out to create more than just a roastery. Named after a legendary local bar where the founders once worked, "Spojka" translates to "connector" or "clutch", a perfect reflection of their mission to unite people through exceptional coffee.

Skate Culture Meets Coffee Craft

Behind their laid-back, skate-culture-inspired aesthetic lies a fierce dedication to the craft. This artistic edge shines through in their packaging: the team hand-decorates their coffee bags using spray cans, making every single bag a totally unique piece of street art. Inside, Viktor and his team meticulously source high-scoring specialty beans and embrace wild, experimental processing methods to bring out crazy, unexpected flavor profiles. Through educational workshops and a fiercely open-minded approach, they invite everyone, from coffee nerds to curious beginners, to join their creative family.
