The story:
Our partners at DAK call this one a favourite Kenyan of the season. Rhubarb Fizz comes from Ndimi Factory in Kirinyaga on the foothills of Mount Kenya, run by the Inoi Farmers Cooperative Society with around 540 farmer members. A field blend of SL28, SL34, Batian and Ruiru 11 grown near 1700 MASL goes through a classic washed process.

The taste:
The name says it all. Fizzy rhubarb soda leads, backed by juicy blackcurrant and a bright slice of orange. Acidity is lively and sparkling but stays well structured, and the finish is clean and syrupy sweet. It tastes like a sparkling fruit cocktail with serious Kenyan backbone, vivid from the first sip to the last drop.

The feeling:
Brew it in a V60 or Chemex to keep that sparkle crisp and layered. This is for anyone who loves bright, juicy filter coffee with a fruity punch. If you like your cup mellow and chocolatey, move along. If you want something lively that wakes up your palate, this is your next bag.
