The story:
Our partners at DAK picked Pillow Talk from Los Nogales, Oscar Hernandez's farm in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia. This Caturra grows at 1870 MASL and is processed and decaffeinated entirely on the farm, from cherry to finished bean. After a 24-hour fermentation and washing, it goes through hot water and a solvent derived from coffee pulp, so the team controls every step.

The taste:
Expect starfruit up front, with a sprig of rosemary and a drizzle of agave underneath. The cup is bright and sweet, with a lively lift that most decafs never reach. There is no flat, papery edge here. It tastes like a proper filter coffee that happens to be caffeine free, and the herbal note keeps every sip interesting as it cools.

The feeling:
Brew it in a Clever Dripper or V60 for an easy, forgiving cup, and enjoy it in the evening without the caffeine. This is for anyone who wants to keep drinking good coffee after lunch or before bed. The beans may have an unusual colour because of the decaf process. That is completely normal and does not affect the quality.
