Collection: Automatic Brewers: Specialty for Consistency
Looking for coffee for a batch brewer? A good drip machine brews a whole carafe at 92 to 96°C, so this range favors clean, balanced filter coffees that stay sweet from the first cup to the last. Use 60 g per liter and a medium-coarse grind. New to drip? Start with our drip coffee machine guide.
Coffee for your drip machine that stays sweet from the first cup to the last. Clean, balanced filter coffees for a full carafe. Use 60 g per liter and check our drip machine guide.
Shared carafes love balance and sweetness with a smooth, rounded finish. Brewlab Candy from our partners at COFFEELAB comes in a 500 g bag with jammy sweetness, handy when you brew by the liter. Classic from HAYB adds chocolate, creamy nuts and a touch of dried fruit, and Juicy Fruit from COFFEE PLANT brings bright stone fruit.
The Batch Brew advantages
Precision at Scale
Optimized for brewers that maintain high-end SCA temperature standards for a perfect Batch Brew.
Daily Consistency
The ultimate way to enjoy world-class Specialty Grade coffee with zero effort every morning.
Crowd Pleaser
Ideal for brewing larger carafes without sacrificing the delicate nuances of the bean.
Heat and grind decide everything. Look for an ECBC certified brewer that reaches 92 to 96°C, grind medium-coarse and weigh your coffee. A brew time of 4 to 6 minutes is normal. Too fine and the water gets stuck, too coarse and it tastes like tea.
Treat the Carafe Right
Never leave the pot on the hot plate, because within about 15 minutes it cooks the coffee into burnt acid. Pour into a thermal carafe instead. Rinse the paper filter and shake the basket flat, and your last cup tastes as good as the first.
